UFP Industries seeks a Safety Coordinator to oversee the facility's safety programs and initiatives. You will coordinate and supervise safety practices, train new hires, and work with management to promote safe operations.

You will lead accident investigations, maintain OSHA-related records, and ensure proper PPE, training, and safety equipment across the site in Harrisonville, MO. This role supports regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Minimum high school graduate.
• 0–2 years of experience in safety or woodworking operations.
• Proficiency with computer and office software, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Preferred: First Aid/CPR experience and knowledge of OSHA/DOT regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Inspects facility operations to ensure safe practices, PPE use, and guarding.
• Investigates accidents and near-misses; identifies trends and implements corrective actions.
• Develops safety programs and incentives with management.
• Conducts new hire safety training and communicates safety policies.
