Responsibilities include recruiting-related tasks, safety inspections, accident investigations, safety training, forklift certification, and maintaining OSHA logs.

Qualifikationen

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Minimum high school graduated.
• 0–2 years of experience in safety or woodworking operations.
• 1–3 years of experience in an administrative role preferred.
• Working knowledge of computer software, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• First Aid/CPR and OSHA/DOT knowledge are preferred.

Aufgaben

• Maintains employee personnel records and coordinates use of temporary employees.
• Manages time attendance system and assists with benefits paperwork.
• Performs duties related to recruiting, screening, interviewing and onboarding.
• Chairs the Safety Committee and conducts safety trainings and forklift certification as needed.
• Inspects facility operations to ensure safe practices and proper guarding.
• Investigates accidents, identifies trends, and implements corrective measures.
• Maintains OSHA 300 log and prepares required reports.
