Cushman & Wakefield seeks an Operating Engineer to maintain mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems across properties. You’ll perform preventive and corrective maintenance, monitor energy management, and respond to emergencies to keep buildings safe and comfortable.

Candidates need 5+ years of related experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and relevant trade licenses. Proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word is expected; an apprenticeship or trade school is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of related operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems experience.
• Applicable trade licenses may be required (e.g., refrigeration or boiler).
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Apprentice program or trade school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s).
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, pumps, and air distribution systems.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical and control systems; respond to emergencies.
• Inspect engine room and backup equipment; perform safety inspections.
• Document activities and report to supervisor.
