Job summary

The City of El Paso is seeking a skilled supervisor to plan, schedule, and oversee day-to-day maintenance, repair, cleanliness, and disinfection of city buildings and grounds. You will lead crews, prioritize work, and ensure safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include directing staff, logging work orders, coordinating with contractors, and managing multiple locations with attention to budget and efficiency. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 4 years in building trades/grounds maintenance; 2 years lead worker experience.
• Licenses: Valid Texas Class C Driver's License or equivalent by appointment.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise day-to-day operations, maintenance, cleanliness and disinfection of buildings and grounds.

Responsibilities

• Direct crews to repair, maintain, clean, disinfect buildings and grounds.
• Prepare and log work orders; oversee scheduling across shifts and locations.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance; coordinate with vendors and contractors.
• Oversee budgeting input, project planning, and development of policies for operations.
