The City of El Paso Texas seeks a working supervisor to oversee a range of semi-skilled and skilled maintenance tasks on City properties and facilities. You will plan, assign and review work, ensure quality, safety and on-time completion while coordinating with staff and contractors.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting of HVAC and utilities, carpentry and paving repairs, landscaping, pool systems, and backflow devices, along with cost estimates and material

Qualifikationen

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and 3 years of building trades or grounds/maintenance experience.
• Possession of Texas Class C driver's license; some roles may require Class B CDL.
• Ability to supervise a small crew, plan preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and quality.

Aufgaben

• Perform and oversee preventive building maintenance, write work orders and schedule staff.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing and related systems.
• Perform carpentry, painting, concrete and asphalt repair.
• Maintain landscaping, drainage and irrigation; service pool systems.
• Inspect completed work and ensure compliance with code; supervise a small work crew.
