Job summary

Pioneer Industrial Corporation seeks a hands-on facilities/operations leader for our Indianapolis facility. You will ensure documentation, drive process improvements, and maintain regulatory compliance across manufacturing, testing, and inbound materials.

Travel up to 15% will be required as you coordinate with cross-functional teams and leadership. Responsibilities include supervising payroll/HR functions, training staff on SOPs and quality standards, and developing KPIs for data-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Working knowledge of ASME, API, DOT, NBIC, and federal/state/local Regulations and codes.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements for Pioneer Industrial operations.
• Ability to interpret quality audits, test results and define corrective actions.
• Ability to influence leaders across the organization.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills.
• 15% domestic travel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facilities have current, complete documentation to support processes.
• Identify opportunities to build efficiency and consistency across the facility.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory codes, SOPs, and PM programs.
• Review staffing requirements and support demand changes.
• Oversee inspections and action-planning with site leadership.
• Establish auditable plant operation protocols for manufacturing, testing, and inbound materials.
• Coordinate cross-functional support to ensure Indianapolis facility runs effectively.
• Develop KPIs for data-driven decision making and quality improvements.
• Lead safety, quality, and compliance initiatives.
• Manage daily production assignments and paperwork for invoicing.
• Handle payroll and HR functions to support branch operations.
• Train employees on SOPs, regulations, and quality standards.
• Plan capital projects or changes and expansions.
• Support sales and supply chain, investigate customer complaints.
