Job summary

Pioneer Industrial Corporation seeks a results‑driven operations leader to coordinate plant performance at our Indianapolis facility. You will ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement across manufacturing and support functions.

The role includes staffing oversight, payroll/HR support, and collaboration with sales and supply chain to resolve issues and implement capital projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Experience interpreting ASME, API, DOT, NBIC regulations and applying them to operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to influence leaders across organization.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facilities have current and complete documentation to support processes.
• Identify opportunities to build efficiency and consistency across the facility.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory codes, PM programs, and vendor certifications.
• Review staffing requirements to support changing demand and operate Indianapolis facility effectively.
• Conduct inspections, discuss findings with site management, and develop action plans.
• Establish auditable protocols for manufacturing, testing, regulatory compliance, and inbound materials.
• Develop KPIs to enable data‑driven decisions and quality improvement.
• Lead safety, quality, and process standardization initiatives.
• Manage daily production assignments, payroll, and HR functions.
• Ensure employees are trained on SOPs, regulatory requirements, quality standards, and best practices.
• Assist planning for capital projects and operational changes.
• Collaborate with sales to resolve customer complaints and support supply chain.
