Job summary

Gables Search Group is seeking an experienced Plant Manager for our Indianapolis facility specializing in vibration monitoring technology. You will lead safety, quality, productivity, and profitability while building a high-performing team.

Responsibilities include managing production, quality, engineering, and EHS, with a strong focus on Lean and continuous improvement, cost control, and budget adherence. Travel up to 25% may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Progressive manufacturing leadership experience with success leading plant operations.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing plant P&L, budgets, forecasting, and cost controls.
• Proven track record improving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and operational performance.
• Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams including Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems; IFS or Made2Manage experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship and able to meet the eligibility requirements for a U.S. Government security clearance

• Establish and monitor KPIs that improve operational performance and accountability; Coach, mentor, and develop leaders while fostering a culture of engagement, teamwork, and continuous improvement
• Partner with Sales, Engineering, Finance, HR, and executive leadership to support business objectives and customer expectations
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, regulatory requirements, and company safety standards
• Support long-term operational planning, capacity expansion, and strategic growth initiatives
