Lincoln Search Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced Plant Manager for an established manufacturing operation in Indianapolis.

The role demands hands-on, strategic leadership to drive continuous improvement across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost while coordinating across multiple functions. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in manufacturing leadership, a strong Lean/CI background, and the ability to lead and develop managers while managing budgets and KPIs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within manufacturing and/or plant operations.
• Experience leading and developing managers and frontline leadership.
• Strong background in Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business or related discipline preferred.
• Six Sigma, Lean or related continuous improvement certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for manufacturing and warehouse operations with accountability across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost (SQDIC).
• Lead, develop and hold accountable a team of functional leaders across the operation.
• Identify operational gaps and implement sustainable process improvements.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.
• Establish and utilize KPIs and daily management tools to improve plant performance.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Customer Service and other functions to support business objectives.
• Oversee production planning, inventory, warehouse/distribution and fulfillment activities.
• Manage operating budgets, cost controls and capital improvement initiatives.
• Support S&OP and capacity planning, particularly around seasonal production requirements.
• Build scalable processes and operating disciplines that position the facility for long-term success.

Lincoln Search Consultants has been retained to identify an experienced Plant Manager for an established manufacturing operation in Indianapolis.

This is a highly visible site leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys improving an operation—not simply maintaining one. The Plant Manager will have multi site responsibility and lead teams and leaders across Production, Materials, Engineering, EHS, Inventory Control and related plant functions.

The organization is seeking a hands-on, strategic manufacturing leader who can quickly assess the operation, identify opportunities for improvement, strengthen accountability and develop a culture of continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within manufacturing and/or plant operations
• Previous Plant Manager, Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manager or comparable leadership experience
• Demonstrated success improving safety, quality, productivity, delivery and cost
• Strong background in Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement
• Experience leading and developing managers and frontline leadership
• Strong financial and business acumen with experience managing budgets and operational KPIs
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with a willingness to be visible and hands-on within the operation
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business or related discipline preferred
• Six Sigma, Lean or related continuous improvement certification is a plus
