Job summary

Pioneer Industrial Corporation seeks a qualified operations/quality professional to oversee facility compliance, safety, and continuous improvement at its Indianapolis-area site. You will ensure regulatory adherence, manage production tasks, and coordinate with sales and supply chain.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, knowledge of applicable codes, strong communication, and up to 15% travel to support multiple sites within the group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, related technical field, or equivalent work history.
• Knowledge of ASME, API, DOT, NBIC, and federal/state/local regulations and codes.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and apply them to Pioneer operations.
• Ability to interpret quality audits and implement corrective actions.
• Ability to influence leaders across the organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 15% domestic travel required.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Pioneer Safety and Quality procedures and regulations.
• Lead safety briefings and address safety concerns at the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and facility appearance.
• Act as primary quality contact for the facility.
• Coordinate on-site and off-site customer visits as needed.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives at the facility.
• Set process and quality standards to foster a safe, quality-oriented culture.
• Manage daily production assignments and prioritize tasks.
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely invoicing paperwork.
• Administer payroll and HR functions to support branch operations.
• Train employees on SOPs, regulatory requirements, quality standards, and best practices.
• Assist in planning capital projects or operational changes and expansions.
• Use analytics to track initiatives and establish new KPIs.
• Collaborate with sales to resolve customer complaints and monitor corrective actions.
