Job summary

M.C. Dean is a leading provider of building intelligence, delivering cyber-physical solutions for critical facilities. The Service Manager will oversee daily facilities operations, maintenance execution, and work orders, reporting to the Project Manager and guiding technicians and shift leads.

The role requires ensuring safety, quality, SOP/MOP compliance, and coordination with subcontractors, with strong experience in facilities management and MS Office.

Qualifications

• One of the following: High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years of experience; Associate's Degree with 8+ years; Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years.
• Minimum of 3 years of oversight, management and execution of routine and non-routine facilities operations, maintenance, and service work orders.
• Experience in a large commercial/industrial facility or multiple facilities with complex mechanical, electrical, and structural requirements.
• Experience coordinating work and communicating with customers and subcontractors.
• Experience managing, scheduling, and tracking a large volume of independent work orders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
• Experience with CMMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facilities operations, maintenance, and service work orders.
• Supervise technicians and shift leads; provide guidance and accountability.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs/MOPs, safety policies, regulatory requirements, and customer standards.
• Review CMMS work orders and logs for accuracy and quality.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and spare parts; maintain inventory levels.
• Support subcontractors and coordinate with Task Order Manager for project oversight.
