Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Lead to oversee troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance of HVAC equipment in a mission-critical environment. The role requires extensive field knowledge and the ability to provide practical solutions under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include inspections, mentoring HVAC staff, operating and maintaining site-critical engineering systems, and ensuring life-safety and environmental controls are functioning to specifications.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of commercial HVAC experience with a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with chillers, boilers, package units, VAV systems and automated controls.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an HSPD-12 clearance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor HVAC and building systems; log operations and faults.
• Mentor HVAC technicians and supervise maintenance activities.
• Operate and maintain critical systems including HVAC, BAS, and life-safety equipment.
