Job summary

Brookdale is a nationwide community operator and a Great Place to Be. We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee associates handling general operating maintenance and repairs across our community(s).

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality service to residents. Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating repairs, and ensuring equipment and buildings are well maintained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid State Driver’s License required for vehicle travel.

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance, housekeeping and laundry staff to ensure property upkeep.
• Directs maintenance of interior and exterior of the community and inspects work for standards compliance.
• Oversees scheduled maintenance for HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler systems, generator and landscape.
• Coordinates repair requests from residents and ensures timely action is taken.
• Maintains safety and compliance with local and state codes; liaises with inspectors as needed.
