Job summary

Brookdale is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee associates responsible for the general operating maintenance and repair of our communities. You will supervise maintenance, housekeeping and laundry staff, hire and train personnel, and ensure work meets standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 2–3 years related experience or training.
• Valid State Driver’s License required for vehicle travel.

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance, housekeeping and laundry staff, including hiring, training and evaluating performance.
• Directs maintenance work on interior and exterior areas, ensuring conformance to standards and policies.
• Oversees HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generator, landscape and kitchen equipment maintenance.
• Coordinates resident maintenance requests and repairs across rooms and common areas.
• Ensures safety and compliance with local/state codes and maintains communication with inspectors.
