Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to lead daily facility operations and deliver an exceptional workplace experience. You will collaborate with the Facilities Manager and client teams to ensure safety, cleanliness, and efficiency across the site.

The role emphasizes proactive problem-solving, strong communication, and a service-oriented approach to support employees, guests, and vendors in a professional environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Facilities Management, Building Operations, Business, or related discipline is required; relevant on-the-job experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in commercial/industrial real estate, facilities management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the assigned facility, including janitorial, life-safety, engineering, site services, and front-of-house operations.
• Ensure smooth employee, guest, and visitor experience with clear, warm communication.
• Maintain front-of-house coverage during business hours for on-site support.
• Respond quickly to service requests from building occupants for maintenance, repairs, and workplace services.
• Oversee interior/exterior spaces, coordinate work orders, and address issues promptly.
• Manage site logistics including mail, shipments, wayfinding, tours, and lost-and-found.
