Job summary

Opensity Solutions is seeking a Facilities Associate to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workplace in New York, NY. You will support daily operations, hospitality, and vendor coordination to enhance the employee and client experience.

This non-exempt role reports to the Hospitality Coordinator or Workplace Services leadership. Candidates should have 1+ year in facilities or related fields and a high school diploma; associate/bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate/bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 1+ year in facilities support or related field.
• Technical: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with workplace service tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate routine facility maintenance, repairs, and minor renovations.
• Support vendor and contractor coordination for facility services.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and escalate issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility policies.
• Assist with conference room setup and breakdown for meetings and events.
• Stock and maintain pantry, kitchen, and breakroom supplies.
• Support general hospitality functions, including dishwashing and cleaning equipment.
• Assist with office moves, workspace reconfigurations, and furniture assembly.
• Coordinate special deliveries and workspace restacks as needed.
• Promote sustainability initiatives like waste reduction and energy efficiency.
