Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs across mechanical, industrial, plumbing, and control systems.

The role supports engineering and technical services, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient facility operations. The candidate will review work orders, plan materials, and lead maintenance efforts while coaching teammates and upholding CBRE RISe values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; trade school diploma or equivalent considered.
• Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver’s license required.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs for mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems.
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and manage inventory of supplies and tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and handle emergency repairs.
• Review inspections of building and industrial systems to ensure compliance with design specs and client environmental requirements.
• Ensure operation adheres to applicable codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles in daily work responsibilities.
• Share knowledge and coach others across multiple disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example and build consensus to reach agreements across teams.
• Support a broad range of customer, operational, and project activities within the team.
