Job description

Overview:

The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor reports to the Facilities Engineer Manager and serves as the on-duty supervisor for evening and weekend events at Kroc Center/Railton Place. This role involves overseeing staff during events and conducting general maintenance duties.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise Kroc Janitor/Maintenance staff
2. Set up and manage AV equipment for events
3. Oversee general maintenance and cleaning of facilities
4. Manage venue setup, breakdown, and cleanup for special events
5. Monitor the facility daily, report issues, and maintain a maintenance checklist
6. Ensure proper operation of compactors and manage garbage
7. Respond to fire alarms, chemical spills, and hazardous materials incidents
8. Identify repairs and report to the Facilities Engineer Manager for action
9. Maintain equipment, follow safety protocols, and educate staff and guests
10. Collaborate with vendors and contractors as needed
11. Train janitorial staff in cleaning and deep cleaning as required
12. Support major property projects and tasks as needed
13. Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience (5 years preferred)
• Must be 21 years of age
• Valid CA driver's license
• Experience in plumbing, painting, carpentry, drywall repair, and electrical work
• Lift Truck Safety Course certification
