Job description

Bergin Screen Printing & Etching (BSPE), a leader in premium alternative bottle labeling for over 35 years for the wine and spirits industry, is seeking a Maintenance and Facilities Manager to support our growing operation. This role is critical to maintaining the performance and reliability of our facility and equipment, ensuring we meet the high standards of quality and service our clients expect.
We’re looking for a skilled, solution-oriented professional with experience in industrial maintenance, strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, and a proactive approach to facilities management in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and execute preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and production equipment.
• Oversee capital improvement projects, facility upgrades, and vendor management.
• Utilize CMMS to document service and maintenance history.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate timely repairs.
• Ensure workplace safety and Cal/OSHA compliance across all departments.
• Respond to after-hours maintenance needs as required.
• Maintain tools and spare parts inventory; coordinate procurement when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors (domestic and international).

Qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience in facility or equipment maintenance (preferably in a manufacturing environment).
• Technical training or certification highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, welding (TIG/MIG), and PLCs.
• Skilled with hand and power tools; machine shop experience a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, AutoCAD drawings, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Forklift and man lift certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Work Environment
• Manufacturing environment with potential exposure to machinery, heat, and industrial materials.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs., squatting, bending, and working overhead.
