Job summary

KW Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on building systems and the property interior and exterior. This role involves coordinating vendors, maintaining maintenance schedules, and ensuring safety protocols are followed on site.

The position requires 2+ years in building trades, ability to respond to emergencies promptly, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years general experience in building trades or handyman work.
• Ability to react and address emergencies within 30 minutes.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Additional trade experience and certifications may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on building interior and exterior.
• Schedule vendors and contractors for repairs and emergencies outside routine maintenance.
• Maintain a preventive maintenance schedule and service due dates.
• Report problems to the Chief Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain safe work practices and ensure safety of occupants.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
