Job summary

KW Property Management LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance on building interiors and exteriors at a Florida property. You will coordinate with vendors, manage a maintenance schedule, and address emergencies with safety as a priority.

The role requires at least two years of building trades experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to react quickly to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years general experience in building trades, repair and replacement maintenance or handy-work.
• Must have the ability to react and address all emergency situations in a timely manner (within 30 minutes). Afterhours emergencies possible.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance on building interior and exterior.
• Contacts and schedules vendors and contractors for necessary building repairs and emergencies.
• Maintains a schedule of when maintenance has been performed and when next service is due.
• Works in a safe manner and recognizes unsafe situations and takes action to ensure safety.
• Maintains an operating environment to achieve a satisfactory level of Resident's service.
• Adheres to the preventative maintenance program for the Community.
• Perform minor maintenance replacement and repair in carpentry, electrical, AC, plumbing, and other minor repairs.
• Complete all required forms and work orders using KWPMC system.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
• Assist in maintaining records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
