Job summary

KW Property Management & Consulting is seeking a diligent Maintenance Technician to perform routine upkeep on interior and exterior building systems at a resident property. You will work under limited supervision, supporting the Chief Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor and coordinating with vendors for urgent repairs.

The role requires at least two years of building trades experience, basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC familiarity, plus the ability to respond quickly to emergencies,

Qualifications

• HVAC certifications preferred but not required.
• Minimum two years general experience in building trades, repair and replacement maintenance or handy-work.
• Ability to react and address all emergency situations in a timely manner (within 30 minutes). After-hours emergencies may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance on building interior and exterior.
• Contacts and schedules vendors and contractors for repairs outside routine maintenance scope.
• Maintains a maintenance schedule and track service due dates.
• Routinely inspect building mechanical systems and equipment.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
