KW Property Management is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs across building interiors and exteriors under the supervision of the Chief Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor. The role requires handling preventative maintenance and responding to emergencies as needed.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of general trades experience, prefer HVAC certifications, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• HVAC certifications preferred but not required.
• Minimum two (2) years general experience in building trades, repair and replacement maintenance or handy-work.
• Must have the ability to react and address all emergency situations in a timely manner (within 30 minutes).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Additional trade experience and certifications may be required at some locations.

Responsabilités

• Schedule vendors and contractors for repairs and emergencies outside routine maintenance.
• Maintains a schedule of when maintenance has been performed and when next service is due.
• Work in a safe manner and ensure safety of themselves and others in building.
• Maintain an operating environment to achieve a satisfactory level of Resident’s service.
• Adhere to the preventative maintenance program for the Community.
• Perform minor maintenance replacement and repair in carpentry, electrical, AC, plumbing, HVAC, painting, flooring, and other repairs via work orders.
• Complete all required forms and work orders using KWPMC work order system.
• Perform casual labor and assist with emergency at the property as required.
• Routinely inspect building mechanical systems and equipment.
• Monitor and adjust controls that regulate building systems.
• Routinely inspect common areas and report issues to CE or Maintenance Supervisor.
