Job summary

KW Property Management and Consulting is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems and facilities. The role includes coordinating with vendors, servicing HVAC and electrical systems, and ensuring safe, clean common areas for residents.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years in general maintenance, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond promptly to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years general experience in building trades, repair and replacement maintenance or handy-work.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• HVAC certifications preferred but not required.
• Additional trade experience and certifications may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Contacts and schedules vendors and contractors for necessary building repairs and emergencies.
• Maintains a schedule of maintenance and next service due.
• Maintains safe work practices and ensures safety of others in the building.
• Performs minor maintenance including carpentry, electrical, AC, plumbing, painting and flooring.
• Completes forms and work orders in the KWPMC system.
• Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.
• Inspects mechanical systems and building environments to ensure proper operation.
