Job summary

KW Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle routine building maintenance on a property where residents live. The role reports to the Property Manager for prioritizing work and to the Building Maintenance Lead for quality and safety oversight.

Responsibilities include coordinating repairs, maintaining service schedules, and ensuring a safe environment. Afterhours emergencies may be required, with a non-exempt hourly schedule set by the property.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years general maintenance or handyman experience.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations promptly (within 30 minutes).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Additional trade experience and certifications may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building interior and exterior maintenance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs.
• Maintain maintenance schedule and service due dates.
• Follow safety procedures to protect self and others.
• Assist in preventative maintenance and record keeping.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
