Job summary

Greystar is hiring a Service Technician to maintain the property's buildings, grounds and amenities, ensuring safety, cleanliness and functionality. This onsite role requires completing work orders, inspections, and preventive maintenance while supporting a responsive maintenance team.

The position involves flexible scheduling, on-call duties, and collaboration with contractors, with EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license often required depending on property location.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience in property maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and perform repairs following safety standards.
• Complete make-ready tasks for vacant units and coordinate with vendors.
• Track materials, inventory, and reorder needs.
• Document service requests and maintain records.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, perform cleaning and minor painting.
• Assist cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.
