Job summary

EP ENERGY is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Mechanic, Intermediate to perform routine and preventive maintenance on facilities and equipment. You will read blueprints, interpret plans, and supervise basic contracted cleaning tasks when needed.

The role requires handling heavy manual tasks and ensuring safety and ADA compliance. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and several years of maintenance experience, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, with the ability to work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus at least three (3) years working experience in general building maintenance and repair; with two (2) years of a specialty skill.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment; plumbing; electrical and structural construction; installation; maintenance and repair; paint preparation and application.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and urgent maintenance and repairs on facilities, equipment, and grounds.
• Reviews work orders, plans work schedule, and completes required maintenance tasks.
• Maintains mechanical and electrical components within facilities; repairs and services interior and exterior service elevators.
