Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial/industrial facility equipment. The role emphasizes safety, effective communication, and ownership of tasks. Cross-training and a flow-to-the-work approach are part of the position.

Qualified candidates will have 4 years of related maintenance experience, an HS diploma, and relevant licenses. Strong troubleshooting and building systems knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; some undergraduate business or trade training preferred.
• 4 years’ experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry or related maintenance fields.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to safety guidelines including OSHA regulations and lock-out/tag-out.
• Conducts shift rounds to identify issues and documents performance.
• Performs preventative maintenance and substantial equipment repairs (HVAC, fire life safety, plumbing, electrical).
• Repairs pumps, valves, pumps, and electrical components; may repaint and fix leaks.
• Operates work order system and CMMS; orders parts and manages vendors.
