Job summary

Environmental Air Systems, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our Facilities Department. The technician will independently perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and systems, diagnosing common issues and completing assignments with minimal supervision.

The role includes on-site responsibilities across EAS locations, with a focus on safety, documentation, and mentoring junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 3+ years of commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
• Trade school, apprenticeship, or technical training in a maintenance-related field preferred.
• Experience with fabrication machinery, robotic machinery, or HVAC/refrigeration systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance on assets, facility equipment, and building systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, plumbing, lighting, door hardware, and facility issues with minimal supervision.
• Support repairs to fabrication equipment, welding equipment, air systems, pumps, motors, and other production support equipment.
• Complete small installations, modifications, and facility improvement tasks.
• Read and follow equipment manuals, maintenance procedures, and manufacturer recommendations.
• Prioritize work orders and communicate completion dates, delays, and material needs.
• Assist with contractor coordination and ensure work areas are safe for outside vendors.
• Train and mentor Maintenance Technician I staff in safe practices and routine tasks.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, parts usage, and equipment history.
• Identify recurring failures and suggest practical corrective actions or process improvements.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls and high-risk conditions as needed.
• Follow all safety policies, lockout/tagout, and related procedures.
