Job summary

Mentor Technical Group is seeking a facilities technician to perform building, mechanical and electrical repairs on site. You will diagnose problems, repair equipment, and ensure safe operation of systems, while reading blueprints and plans as required.

Applicants should have a technical college background or equivalent and a high school diploma with 2+ years of facilities experience; PR driver’s license is required. This role is based on-site in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Technical College Degree preferred.
• High school diploma with 2+ years of facilities experience or equivalent.
• Driver’s license of PR.

Responsibilities

• Conduct work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations.
• Perform general repair work on buildings, mechanical, electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose problems and make recommendations.
• Repair and replace damaged parts and equipment such as sanitary devices and kitchen equipment.
• Read blueprints, floor plans and wiring diagrams.
• Assist with movement and reinstatement of equipment and fixtures on site.
