Job summary

NeighborHealth is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Mechanic II to perform regular maintenance across our locations, including ductwork, plumbing, electrical and HVAC tasks. You will help with preventative maintenance, repairs, and small construction projects at all NeighborHealth sites, and you’ll be on-call on a rotating bi-weekly basis to handle emergencies.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience as a maintenance person.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, electricity and repairing equipment.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform mid-skilled maintenance, repair and construction at all health locations.
• Operate equipment and tools to repair and maintain systems.
• On-call twenty-four hours/day on a rotating basis for emergencies.
