Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist in the operation, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs of commercial properties in the San Jose area. You will service HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to emergencies as needed.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of related experience in a commercial property setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems including plumbing, HVAC, roofs, and grounds equipment.
• Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Respond to emergencies and customer service requests as assigned.
• Inspect buildings and equipment for unsafe conditions and perform preventative maintenance.
