Job summary

KW Property Management and Consulting in Miami, FL, seeks a maintenance technician to perform routine maintenance on interior and exterior building systems under limited supervision. You will help uphold a safe, well-maintained environment for residents and staff.

The role includes coordinating vendors, maintaining maintenance schedules, and performing minor repairs across carpentry, electrical, AC, plumbing, and other areas as needed. After-hours emergencies may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years general experience in building trades, repair and replacement maintenance or handy-work.
• Ability to react and address emergency situations in a timely manner (within 30 minutes).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Additional trade experience and certifications may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance on building interior and exterior.
• Contacts and schedules vendors and contractors for repairs outside routine maintenance.
• Maintains a schedule of maintenance and next service due.
• Works safely and ensures safety of self and others.
• Routinely inspect mechanical systems and building areas for proper performance and appearance.
