Job summary

KW Property Management and Consulting is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine upkeep on a resident property. The role is non-exempt with an 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift, Saturday through Thursday, indoors and outdoors with moderate to loud noise at times.

Under limited supervision, you will handle preventive maintenance, minor repairs across carpentry, electrical, AC, plumbing, and other building systems, and coordinate with vendors for non-routine repairs.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years general experience in building trades or handy-work.
• Ability to react to emergencies within 30 minutes and assist afterhours if needed.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Additional trade experience and certifications may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on building interior and exterior.
• Schedule vendors/contractors for repairs outside routine maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance records and service due dates.
• Follow safety procedures to protect residents and staff.
• Inspect mechanical systems and controls; monitor and adjust building operations.
• Complete work orders and use the maintenance system for documentation.
• Assist with carpentry, electrical, AC, plumbing, painting, flooring, and other small repairs.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
