Job summary

Greystar in Washington state is hiring a maintenance technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work across the community. You will diagnose faults, complete routine upkeep, and ensure clean, safe, and well-maintained grounds, interiors, exteriors, and common areas in line with Greystar standards.

The role includes managing work orders from residents, coordinating with vendors, and supporting make-ready tasks for market-ready units.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to diagnose faults and perform repairs
• Commitment to safety compliance and code requirements

Responsibilities

• Manages resident service work orders and routine upkeep by diagnosing defects and repairing as per policies and safety standards.
• Oversees "make-ready" process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including inspections, punch list creation, and scheduling vendors.
• Sets cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspects work by team members and contractors, and develops corrective action plans as needed.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and coordinates supplies with the Community Manager; supports cost-control.
