Job summary

SP+ is seeking a facility maintenance attendant to perform cleaning, minor repairs, and daily garage walks in Windsor Locks, CT. You will ensure a clean, safe environment and assist customers with a positive experience. Flexible shifts include evenings and weekends, with opportunities to contribute across multiple duties.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license; prior maintenance experience is a plus. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; experience in facility maintenance may be considered.
• Must possess valid state driver’s license and good driving record.
• Availability for various shifts, including weekends or nights, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks per checklists to keep all areas tidy.
• Walk the garage daily to identify and fix maintenance issues.
• Sweep entrances, restrooms, and offices; empty trashcans and assist with supplies.
• Paint surfaces and replace bulbs; report repairs to the Facility Manager.
• Monitor gates and ticket spitters; assist customers and resolve complaints.
