Job summary

SP+ is seeking a maintenance/operations support staffer in Windsor Locks, CT to help direct routine cleaning, maintenance and repair efforts. This role supports scheduling, timekeeping, and day-to-day project supervision under the Maintenance Services group.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma with some college preferred, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to safety and problem solving. The position offers comprehensive benefits and 401(k) plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; some college a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing and managing routine cleaning, maintenance and repair tasks.
• Supervise day/evening maintenance crew and ensure completion of scheduled tasks.
• Assist with scheduling, monitoring and timecard checks.
• Conduct regular facility and equipment inspections to ensure good maintenance conditions.
• Lead safety procedures and report hazards or incidents to the General Manager.
• Support cleanup of debris, spills and environmental risks as needed.
• Ensure compliance with environmental standards and corporate governance.
