Job summary

Edwards Vacuum LLC seeks a Facilities Maintenance Leader to oversee preventative and periodic maintenance for a new greenfield dry pump facility in Buffalo, NY. You will lead the maintenance team, drive reliability, and coordinate safety, environment, and regulatory compliance.

The role demands 10+ years in plant maintenance, including 5 years guiding a team; strong knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and facility systems; and contractor management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other technical field.
• 10 years' experience in plant maintenance with 5 years' experience managing a facility maintenance team.
• Strong mechanical aptitude plus knowledge of high voltage electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing and compressed air.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and develop the Facilities Maintenance team, setting work priorities and ensuring safe, effective maintenance.
• Develop and manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs; utilize CMMS for scheduling and reliability.
• Ensure safe operation of facility systems including electrical distribution, HVAC, compressed air, water, plumbing and lighting.
• Ensure facilities maintenance activities comply with EHS requirements and regulatory standards; lead safe work practices.
• Manage contractors and service providers; define scopes, coordinate activities, and monitor quality and schedule.
• Plan and support facility upgrades, infrastructure replacement, and capital projects; minimize disruption and ensure project execution.
• Provide leadership during emergencies and coordinate recovery to minimize downtime.
• Develop maintenance plans, monitor costs and resources, and identify reliability and energy-efficiency improvements.
