Job summary
Edwards Vacuum in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Leader to oversee preventative and periodic maintenance, ensuring safety, uptime, and environmental compliance at the new greenfield dry pump manufacturing site.
You will lead a maintenance team, manage preventive, predictive, and corrective programs via CMMS, coordinate with engineering, production, EHS, and contractors, and drive continuous improvement and energy-efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications
- 10 years' experience in plant maintenance with 5 years' experience managing a facility maintenance team.
- Experience leading maintenance teams in manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC and building utilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coordinate, and develop the Facilities Maintenance team.
- Develop and manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
- Ensure safe operation of electrical, HVAC, and other building systems.
- Manage contractors and vendors; define scopes & monitor performance.
- Plan capital projects; coordinate with Engineering, Production, EHS.
- Provide emergency response and minimize downtime.
- Develop budgets, monitor costs, and pursue energy-efficiency projects.
