Job summary

Edwards Vacuum LLC is seeking a field service professional to maintain relationships with key customers and perform on-site maintenance of vacuum pumps. You will visit sites, diagnose and repair equipment, install systems, and ensure safety compliance while delivering high customer satisfaction.

Role emphasizes collaboration with internal teams, training, and proactive identification of preventive maintenance opportunities to minimize downtime and maximize system performance.

Qualifications

• General entry level: 2-4 years experience in a similar role.
• System Diagnostics: Proficiency using diagnostic tools and software.
• Electrical and Mechanical Skills: foundational engineering principles for repair.
• Able to legally work in the U.S.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Proactively maintain customer relationships and act as feedback loop for service sales and support.
• Provide on-site customer service and technical support to ensure satisfaction.
• Perform planned customer visits to inspect and service vacuum pumps.
• Troubleshoot and repair on-site to minimize downtime.
• Installation and commissioning of vacuum technology products.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use PPE on site.
• Document on-site maintenance, repairs, and issues; report to clients.
• Identify preventive maintenance opportunities during site visits.
• Lead generation for Sales team while on-site.
• Provide training to colleagues and customers; share lessons learned.
• Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions for customers.
