Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance operations of a residential community. You’ll supervise maintenance staff, coordinate service requests, and ensure facilities meet safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.

The role emphasizes overseeing make-ready processes, setting high standards for public spaces, and ensuring compliance with safety laws and Greystar policies. Strong communication and hands-on problem solving are key.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose the source or cause of defects from resident service requests and perform repairs per policy and safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready processes to prepare vacant units for leasing, create punch lists, schedule vendors, and inspect work.
• Set standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, buildings, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspect work by service staff and contractors to ensure quality and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Manage inventory of parts and maintenance materials and coordinate with the Community Manager on orders within budget.
