Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the technical, mechanical, and maintenance operations across the community. You will guide maintenance staff, coordinate service requests, and uphold Greystar standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

The role involves overseeing make-ready processes, ensuring high-quality grounds and buildings, and managing safety and regulatory compliance while delivering a superior resident experience.

Qualifications

• Maintenance and repair skills across building systems and equipment.
• Ability to diagnose defects and perform repairs per safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and complete work orders.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant apartments and coordinate vendors.
• Set cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, exteriors, interiors and common areas.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors for quality and compliance.
• Manage inventory and work within budget; order supplies as needed.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance procedures; document results.
• Support cost-control programs by using parts and tools efficiently.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance and MSDS accessibility.
• Provide courteous resident service and address maintenance-related concerns.
