Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Supervisor to lead technical, mechanical, and maintenance operations across the community. You will oversee maintenance staff, coordinate service requests, and ensure facilities meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

The role focuses on making-ready units, maintaining common areas, and upholding Greystar quality while managing safety and efficiency in day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders generated from resident requests for service, and routine upkeep by diagnosing the source of defects and making repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Oversees and completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, vendor coordination, supplies, and final checks.
• Develops cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, amenities, exteriors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspects work by service team members to ensure policy adherence and quality, and develops corrective actions as needed.
• Inspects work by contractors and vendors to verify materials and services meet quality and specifications.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, ordering as needed within budget.
• Completes monthly preventative maintenance procedures per policy.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing where feasible and using tools properly.
• Conducts safety meetings, keeps MSDS current, and stays compliant with OSHA and safety laws.
• Demonstrates customer service by addressing resident questions and efficiently assigning work orders.
