Job summary

City of McKinney is seeking a Crew Leader for Facilities Maintenance to oversee maintenance and repair of City facilities. You will direct a team, coordinate trades, and ensure preventive maintenance aligns with City standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least five years of supervisory maintenance experience.
• Experience in facilities maintenance including plumbing, elevators, roofing, painting, carpentry, electrical, and building lock hardware.
• Ability to direct, schedule, review, and evaluate staff; ensure safety and City standards.

Responsibilities

• Directs, instructs, schedules, reviews, and evaluates the work activities of assigned staff.
• Oversees facilities maintenance in areas such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and building systems.
• Develops specifications for contractor work and ensures compliance with City standards.
• Establishes preventive and scheduled maintenance programs for City facilities.
