Job summary

Vest Residential is seeking a maintenance supervisor to oversee technical work across the community's buildings, grounds, and amenities, ensuring safety and quality align with company standards.

You will handle resident service requests, diagnose defects, coordinate make-ready tasks for new move-ins, supervise contractors, and manage preventive maintenance while keeping costs in line with budget. Strong safety compliance and on-site presence required.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type I/II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certifications, or willingness to complete within 90 days.
• State and local jurisdictions require all relevant certifications.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and performs routine maintenance across buildings, grounds, and common areas.
• Reviews work orders from residents, diagnosing causes, and repairing per safety standards.
• Leads make-ready process for vacant apartment homes and coordinates vendors.
• Inspects contractor work for quality and ensures compliance with standards.
• Manages inventory and coordinates with Community Manager on supplies and budget.
• Conducts safety meetings and maintains OSHA compliance.
