Job summary

Vest Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Jacksonville, FL to oversee technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, and common areas meet high standards. The role involves diagnosing defects, completing work orders, and coordinating make-ready preparations for leasing.

The position requires EPA refrigerant certification, a CPO or willingness to obtain, OSHA training, and a valid driver’s license for property operations.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type I/II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 or willingness to complete within 90 days.
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance work orders and performs repairs to meet safety and quality standards.
• Manages the make-ready process for vacant units and prepares them for leasing.
• Develops cleanliness and appearance standards for all community areas.
• Inspects work by staff and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintains inventory and coordinates with the Community Manager on supplies and budget.
