Job summary

Allied Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations for our communities. You will lead the maintenance team, coordinate repairs and renovations, and manage vendor relationships to ensure safety and quality for residents.

The role requires strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills, with an emphasis on budgeting and cost control. This on-site position offers growth and a collaborative environment within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from a college or technical school, or three to six months of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven leadership skills with experience supervising a maintenance team.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, correspondence, and basic technical documents.
• Basic math and measurement skills, including algebra and geometry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations and supervise the maintenance team.
• Coordinate repairs, renovations, and vendor relationships; secure bids for outside work.
• Direct contracted projects to ensure quality and adherence to specs.
• Purchase building and maintenance supplies, equipment, and tools.
• Plan, track, and manage the maintenance department budget and cost reports.
