Job summary

CBRE is seeking a facilities technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs across building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general carpentry. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience, with a valid driver’s license often preferred.

You will work under supervision, ensure compliance with safety standards, and support daily operations and emergency responses to keep facilities safe and functional.

Responsibilities

• Performs general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment and grounds under supervision.
• Complies with codes, regulations and safety directives related to building operations.
• Performs day-to-day repairs, evaluates work orders, and orders materials as needed.
• Maintains lighting, grounds, and building systems; assists with installation and modification of equipment.
• Responds to emergencies and supports other tasks as assigned.
