Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold safety and efficiency in small to mid-size buildings. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and support installation and modification of building systems.

The role requires 1–2 years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and proficiency with MS Office. You will follow established procedures under supervision and collaborate with the engineering team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, 1–2 years’ related experience considered.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Strong communication to exchange straightforward information.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
• Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
