Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain and repair building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and fire protection.

You will support preventive maintenance, respond to emergency repairs, and ensure compliance with codes and safety policies. The role requires a High School Diploma or trade school, 4–5 years of related experience; universal CFC certification and an LME license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school with 4–5 years of related experience.
• Universal CFC certification preferred.
• LME license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and control systems.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and emergency repairs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Review building systems (HVAC, fire alarms, plumbing) to meet design specifications and environmental conditions.
• Explain difficult information and coach others within the function.
